Business Development

WPA is a sustaining member of the Association of the United States Army, a corporate member of the National Defense Industrial Association, National Training System Association, and other associations promoting defense of the country. Attendance at selected meetings sponsored by these associations permits WPA associates to understand the needs of the Department of Defense. Management and Production

JD Lewis is the WPA associate responsible for management and production. JD has experience in managing manufacturing plants and implementing production controls to ensure success in completing Federal Government Contracts on time. JD can assist the client in preparing and implementing plans and procedures for management and production. He is familiar with the various tools available to assist program managers in managing contracts and can write manuals and procedures to implement effective management of client operations. JD works closely with George Stubbs to implement and train client personnel on the Earned Value Management System (EVMS) now required for high dollar cost contracts.

Federal Government Cost Accounting

Milt Looney, the WPA associate responsible for Federal Government Cost Accounting from the Government side managed the Huntsville, Alabama office of the Defense Contract Audit Agency, one of the largest in the country. Milt is available to conduct a preliminary audit before the DCAA conducts the Government audit. Milt can also be present during the Government audit. George Stubbs, is the WPA associate responsible for advising clients on Federal Government Cost Accounting from the corporate side. George has an extensive background in pricing and complex systems to control cost. As a cost accountant at Lockheed Martin, Raytheon and Boeing, George implemented cost accounting systems and managed the accounting operations to ensure profitability. As a consultant he is expert in EVMS now mandated for high dollar cost contracts. George can assist client in implementing affordable EVMS solutions that will meet Government requirements.

Federal Government Contracting

Linn Brannon, the WPA responsible for Federal Government Contracting has over 25 years experience as a contracting officer. Linn fully understands the important area of procurement. He works with the client to make sure the complex provisions of the Federal Acquisition Regulations are followed and ensures the client is compliant procurement guidance. Linn assist the client with implementation of these rules and regulations prior to, during and following award of contracts.

Federal Government Proposal Preparation

WPA associates are accomplished at preparing winning proposals.
